Sparkles of the Season

when life gets blurry and out of focus, create a bokeh!

This picture was clicked during the Christmas season of 2018 in my native place, Kerala. We usually don't burst fireworks for any occasion while in Bangalore and hence I did not want to miss the opportunity this time. I tried capturing a lot of them including ground spinners, sparklers, rockets, smoke bombs and firecrackers and I found it very difficult with the fountain in particular as my camera would not focus no matter how much I tried. It took almost a few minutes for me to realize that it was creating a bokeh on its own, and once I realized it, I immediately took many shots of them and this was the best one among it having the best coloured bokeh and a silhouette of my neighbour standing in front of it.

life is like fireworks. You can close your eyes and be scared or open your eyes and enjoy the view. (If you are a photoholic then click some amazing photographs too)

This is me and my younger cousin holding sparklers while I struggled to take a shot of it. I still remember how I was so obsessed with getting this captured that I forgot to enjoy the moment. We had to light this several times to get it perfectly captured without burning our hands.

there is no fire without smoke but there is often smoke without fire

Could not find someone who was willing to pose for this one and that's when I found him. Well, the picture says it all.
