A day at the UB City Mall, Bangalore

A fine Saturday, on a day off at college, me and my friends decided to wander around the city to explore new places.We started our day at Bangalore Palace and then ate lunch under the trees at Cubbon Park and walked towards our final destination for the day, the UB City Mall, Bangalore. We started walking towards it, everyone being tired and excited at the same time. It was during the Christmas season and hence was worth the wait. The spectacular decorations right from the entrance to the top were so marvellous that it instantly became one of the best places I have visited.

 The Main Entrance

Never have I seen such a beautiful entrance. This increased the excitement about what was awaiting us within.

  The Royal Staircase

Nothing, in my opinion attracts attention like the colour red. And these staircases added on the attention with it's bright velvet touch and simple decorations.

Silver beads and snowy texture

Every corner was decorated with such precision, paying attention to the minute details, sticking to the simplicity while making us feel the warmth of Christmas. 

The bewitched ceiling

 The ceiling here reminds me of the bewitched ceiling of Hogwarts School Of Witchcraft and Wizardry giving it a dreamy feel of soaring among the clouds.

A little surprise at the corner

This Christmas tree was placed in one of the not-so-easily-found corners again giving importance to every corner of the mall. 

The Giant Beauty

 The star of the day is this huge Christmas tree at the top of the mall placed so perfectly to be admired by the surrounding skyscrapers.

Escalating back to the entrance

These snow covered beauties,contrasting themselves with the red royal staircase placed on either sides of the escalator perfectly blends in and completes the entire setup.
